Ethan Bryant of Monroe was selected as the first-place winner in the 2012 West Chester Photography Contest sponsored by The Arts Council of West Chester and Liberty.
Bryant captured an image of a lightning strike with the First Financial Bank Clock Tower on The Square in the foreground.
Second place was awarded to Colin Hester of Liberty Township for a photograph of the West Chester Hospital facade.
The award-winning photographs are on display in West Chester Township Hall and will also be used as part of the 2013 West Chester Community Guide, which will be published soon.
The photographs can also be seen on the West Chester Township website.
Details of the 2013 West Chester Photography Contest will be released April 1 at www.WestChesterOH.org.
