Michael D. Clark reports:
A Lakota East High School girls volleyball coach was arrested Friday at his Centerville, Ohio home and charged with having sex with a teenage girl.
Joshua Fisher, 29, was arrested in his Montgomery County home and charged with having unlawful sexual conduct with a 14-year-old female student, said Centerville Police.
The teenage girl is not a student at Lakota East High School but a private volleyball client, said police.
Fisher was first hired as coach of the junior varsity girls volleyball team at the Butler County high school in Liberty Township for the 2012-2013 season. Fisher is not a full-time employee of Lakota Schools but rather a contracted coach who works part-time leading the schools volleyball team.
Randy Oppenheimer, spokesman for Lakota, said a letter from Lakota East’s Principal Suzanna Davis was sent to parents of students at the school but declined to comment further on Fisher.
The Enquirer will report more as information becomes available.
