A West Chester Township salon is sponsoring a Fall Lovefest Oct. 13 to support kids and young adults with cancer or blood disease.
Bajon Salon and Spa is hosting the fundraiser for the Dragonfly Foundation. The event begins at 1 p.m., at the spa, 6072 West Chester Road, and runs into the evening.
The group Busted will perform from 3-7 p.m. Those attending are urged to wear love beads, peace signs, bell bottoms and other ‘hip’ clothes from the 1960s for the event.
There will be hot cider, hot dogs, popcorn and homemade desserts for sale. Activities include pumpkin painting, retro items to buy. Heads will be shaved for a donation to the foundation.
Fifty percent of all sales plus all donations go directly to the Dragonfly Foundation.
