Administrators will talk to the board on its progress to reinstate busing for students in grades 2-6 who live one mile or more from school.
About 2,200 students will get busing in February. It was made possible by last month’s passage of a 5.5 mill combination levy.
Educators have been working with its contractor Petermann Bus to hire and train drivers along with modifying routes to accommodate the additional riders.
Other topics include a recap of the Ohio School Board Association’s Capital Conference held last month in Columbus, an appointment to the Butler Tech Board of Education and setting direction for administrators.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m., at the district’s central offices, 5572 Princeton Road in Liberty Township.
