The Butler County Animal Friends Humane Society is offering a unique Black Friday sale.
Black or predominantly black animals can be adopted at a cost of $15 from the shelter next Friday, Nov. 23. All other animals can be adopted at half the normal fees.
That means cats will cost $40 or $50 for select purebred cats; kittens under four months, $50; dogs, $62.50, select purebred dogs, $87.50 or puppies under four months old, $75.
The fees include spay or neuter services, shots, license, microchipping for identification, a free bag of food and 30 days of pet insurance.
Those adopting dogs must bring a collar and leash. Cats must have a break-away collar, which may be purchased at the shelter for those who don’t have them.
