A Lakota West senior has been tapped to play in the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association’s annual North-South Classic.
Kicker Justin Martin is the only Butler County player selected to play in the big school Division I-III game, playing on the south team. The April 26 game will be played at Dayton’s Welcome Dayton with a 1:p.m., kickoff.
Martin broke the school record this season with a 51-yard field goal against Mason. Despite missing one game due to a broken collarbone, Martin was 5/6 on field goals and 36/38 on field goals for the season.
During his high school career, the 6-foot-5, 225-pound player made 92/106 extra points. He was second team All-Greater Miami Conference this season.
