Liberty Township Tea Party to meet June 6

Legal tools to fight big government will be the topic at the upcoming Liberty Township Tea Party meeting scheduled for June 6 at 7 p.m. at Niederman’s Family Farm.

According to the meeting’s release, Chris Finney Esq. will present the legal tools to fight big government. Finney was the lawyer on the case where students were bused after school to vote and then given ice cream.

In addition, Ken Korn will present “Four Minutes with Our Forefathers.” This is an ongoing series presentation that examines the constitution what it is, how it was written and why it is important. Also, there will be a “bring one take one” book exchange before the meeting. All concerned citizens in Liberty Township and the surrounding area are invited to attend this event.

Niederman Farm featuring free Christmas display

The Niederman Family Farm in Liberty Township is currently featuring a free walk through Christmas display from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. every day through Dec. 30.

The walk through features tens of thousands of lights that illuminate the path. There are fifty speakers that play Christmas music as visitors walk past the life-size nativity and other scenes from the Bible telling the story of Christmas.

The walking path is stroller accessible.

In addition, there are hundreds of decorated trees and live animals.

The event is free to attend. There will also be free parking, free entertainment, free hot chocolate and free cookies available.

The entertainment schedule includes:

Dec. 10 – Mountain Laurel (guitarists) 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Dec. 11 – Marta Kennedy and Friends (singers) 7-8 p.m.
Dec. 11 – Hamilton West Baptist Church 8:15 p.m.
Dec. 12 – West Chester Symphony 7 p.m.
Dec. 13 – Heritage Elementary Show Choir 7 p.m.
Dec. 15 – Lakota Ridge Jr. Choir 6:30 p.m.
Dec. 16 – Heritage 6th Grade Choir 7 p.m.
Dec. 17 – Franz Klaber Orchestra 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Dec. 18 – Calvary Baptist Church 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Dec. 18 – David Cain “Juggler for Jesus” 8-9 p.m.
Dec. 19 – Northern Cinci. Youth Orchestra 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Dec. 20 – David and Beth Dendler Family 7-8 p.m.
Dec. 21 – Fairfield Church of Christ 7-9 p.m.
Dec. 24 – Laura Weeks violinist 7 p.m.
Dec. 26 – David Cain “Juggler for Jesus” 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Fundraiser for 3 little Halos takes place Saturday

The 3 little Halos Niederman Farm Family Fun Day will take Saturday, Sept. 25, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event will feature a corn maze, hay rides, train rides, a bounce pad, kids’ games and entertainment, face painting, concessions, fire and police vehicles, safety booths, the Mobile Cone (ice cream) and more.

Admission is $5. Children five and under will be admitted free. The rain date for this event is Oct. 2.

The 3 little Halos fund has been established to support organizations and programs dedicated to promote fire safety, prevention and awareness, as well as other household safety practices.

This fund has been created in memory of Aubrey, Alex and Braden Butler (photo) who passed away in November of 2007 as a result of a fire in their West Chester home. The children’s legacy will continue by assisting organizations that work to ensure a safe environment for children and their families.
