Music Man opens Friday: Lakota West Threatre will present Music Man this Friday and Saturday and March 9-11. Shows this Friday and Saturday and March 9-10 will take place at 8 p.m. The March 11 show will begin at 2 p.m. Tickets for the musical are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Seminar addressing student stress: Lakota West will offer a seminar at its freshman campus, 5050 Tylersville Road, that is geared to helping parents help their children reduce anxiety and stress in and out of the classroom. Mattress Sale to benefit soccer program: The Lakota West girls’ soccer program will be sponsoring its first annual mattress sale Saturday, March 17. During the sale, brand new, name brand mattress sets will be 30-to-50 percent off retail prices. Student creates statewide logo: Lakota West junior Emma Huddleston had her design recently selected to be printed on 2012 Volley for the Cure t-shirts to be sold across the state of Ohio next fall. Huddleston joins fellow Lakota West students Corri Muha (designed 2011 logo) and Greg Osinski (designed 2010 logo), who have also had their logo designs selected for this honor. The 2012 Volley for the Cure event at Lakota West will take place Monday, Sept. 10. Lakota West will be playing Beavercreek.
Date announced for 2012 Arts and Crafts show: Lakota West High School recently announced the date for its 2012 Arts & Crafts Show – which be Oct. 6-7. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7. To apply to participate in the popular show, visit www.lakotawesthigh.com.
