The Lakota East’s production of “You Can’t Take It With You” will take place this weekend in the auditorium at Lakota East High School.
The show, which can be seen Friday, Saturday and Sunday, stars Lakota East seniors Maggie Schaller, Matt Littig, Katherine Barlow and Maria Rodriguez.
“You Can’t Take It With You” is set in the 1930’s and features an eccentric family and other fixtures of the household, including a delivery man who moved in and a Russian ballet teacher. Tensions arise in the midst of a tricky engagement, and families collide in the least graceful manners.
Juniors Sierra Piwarun and Kaicey Weber are the directors of the show. Stage managers include sophomore Taylor Longworth and senior Megan Jesse.
Shows will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday. All ages are welcome to attend.
