For the second time this season, Lakota East defeated Fairfield in a blowout victory. The Thunderhawks defeated Fairfield by the score of 56-30 Wednesday, putting them in a two-way tie for third place in the Greater Miami Conference standings.
Lakota East senior Alyssa Grevenkamp, who is committed to Findlay, led all players in scoring with 16 points and in rebounding with 7 boards. Her teammates, senior Bernice Satterwhite and freshman Kandace Satterwhite, each scored 10 points in the win.
Junior forward Kaitlyn Mueller led Fairfield with 12 points off the bench.
Lakota East will try to win its fourth game in a row when it visits Oak Hills (2-13 overall, 1-9 in the GMC) at 2 p.m. Saturday. Meanwhile, Fairfield will host Hamilton (10-5 overall, 4-5 in the GMC) in its next scheduled game at 2 p.m. Saturday.
