The Butler County Teenage Republicans (TARS) held an election of officers meeting Sunday, electing Matt King as chairman; Alicia Lang as vice chairman; Caitlin Lange, as secretary; and Jamie Etterling as treasurer.
The meeting has held at its Republican Headquarters, which is located at 3431 Princeton Road (Bridgewater Falls) in Fairfield Township.
According to a release, TARS is a national, youth-led organization challenging teens to become involved in their local, state and national political processes. TARS across the nation sway elections, gain first-hand knowledge of the political process, develop leadership skills and perform community service acts in their communities.
The group is open to all high school students in Butler County.
