Papa John’s to host fundraiser for Sgt. Dulle’s family

Posted by akiefaber June 20th, 2011, 9:27 am Post a Comment

Papa John’s Pizza will hold a one-day fundraiser this Tuesday, June 21, that will benefit the family of Sgt. Brian Dulle. Dulle, a Warren County sheriff’s deputy, died May 10, 2011 in the line of duty.

A total of 41 Papa John’s stores in the Greater Cincinnati area will participate in the fundraiser by donating 10 percent of their entire day sales (open until close) directly to the Dulle family.

Participating Papa John’s stores include the one located in West Chester at 8103 Cincinnati-Dayton Road. For a complete list of participating stores, search “Papa John’s Sgt. Dulle Fundraiser” on Facebook.

Dulle, a married 36-year-old father from Lebanon, has three children (ages 10, 7 and 4). He is the first Warren County sheriff’s deputy to die in the line of duty.

Dulle died after he deployed stop sticks at Ohio 42 and Utica Road in Turtlecreek Township to halt a speeding Cadillac that was fleeing from police. When the car veered out of control, it ran off the road and struck him as he stood near his cruiser. Dulle died instantly.
