The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty’s 12th Annual Community Golf Classic will be held Aug. 1 at Wetherington and Four Bridges Golf and Country Clubs. The event will also feature a post-outing dinner, auction and awards at Wetherington.
The event, which attracts 200 golfers per year, raises funds to support the community foundation’s operations and community grant fund.
“Without the Community Golf Classic, the community foundation would not be able to provide all of the wonderful grant awards and support to our community,” said Jeff Newman, co-chair of the golf outing. “The community’s support of the Golf Classic allows the foundation to expand its work to improve the quality of life for those in West Chester and Liberty Township.”
The cost is $200 per golfer ($100 is tax deductible) and includes golf, cart, golf shirt, lunch and dinner. Sponsorship opportunities are also available and also include recognition at the community foundation’s key event on Sept. 17.
