Two, one-act plays will be presented at Badin High School’s Little Theatre this weekend.
Don’t Say MacBeth and Speed Dating Nightmare will be performed Nov. 14-16 at the school, 571 New London Road. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday; and 1 p.m. Saturday.
A fast-paced farce, Don’t Say MacBeth centers on a student trying to read Shakespeare’s MacBeth in a coffee shop next door to a theater. He gets help from a Scottish actor who drops by and from the shop’s patrons.
Speed Dating Nightmare tells the story of Cindy who tries speed dating. Watch to see if she finds a match.
“These are a couple of entertaining, enjoyable shows,’’ said Mark O’Hara, drama coordinator. “There is a lot of camaraderie in drama. The students are doing a great job with the shows.”

Students from Badin’s speech and drama class taught by O’Hara were cast in Speed Dating Nightmare: Kade Carlyle, Allison Childs, Taylor Jones, Reis Maus, Josh Meece, Jamie Zeis and Cody Young.
