For the 16th year the Lakota West athletic boosters will host a pig roast this September directly preceding a high school football game. This year’s roast will take place at Lakota West High School in the auxiliary gym between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The event will feature pork, “cool” drinks, desserts and raffles.

Presale tickets are $10 and are available at the Lakota West athletic office or at any Lakota West feeder school. Limited tickets, which will be $12, will be available on the night of the event.

After the pig roast, the Lakota West Firebirds football team will face the Anderson Redskins at 7:30 p.m. It is Lakota West’s first home football game of the 2012 season.

Dinner includes barbeque pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, macaroni & cheese, cole slaw, chips and a homemade dessert.

Tickets are $10 for adults and students and $5 for children (ages eight and under). Presale tickets are available at the Lakota West athletic office or at any Lakota West feeder school. Limited tickets will be available the night of the event.

Carry out dinners will also be available.

For the 14th year the Lakota West athletic boosters will host a pig roast Sept. 10 in the Lakota West High School cafeteria directly preceding the school’s football game.

The dinner, which will be served from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., will include City Barbeque pulled pork sandwiches, hamburger, hot dogs, basked beans, macaroni & cheese, green beans, cole slaw, chips and homemade dessert.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for students and $6 for children (ages six and under). Presale tickets are available at the Lakota West athletic office or at any Lakota West feeder school.

Carry out dinners will also be available.
