The Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is coming to Keehner Park to offer a free performance of “Macbeth” at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. The Arts Council of West Chester and Liberty and ArtsWave, a non-profit organization promoting the arts, is presenting the show.

The performance is part of the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company’s sixth annual Shakespeare in the Park summer tour, which brings classic theatre to parks all around the Greater Cincinnati area.
In addition to the performance in West Chester, there will be two more performances from the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company this weekend. “The Tempest” can be seen at Vinoklet Winery, 11069 Colerain Avenue, at 7 p.m. Friday and at Boone Woods Park in Burlington, Ky., at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Additional performances will take place through Greater Cincinnati through Sept. 12. For a complete list, including show titles and information about the venues, visit www.cincyshakes.com/shakespeare-in-the-park.html.
Typically, Keehner Park hosts a free concert on Saturdays in the summer. Due to the performance of “Macbeth,” there won’t be a concert this Saturday.
After Saturday’s Shakespeare in the Park performance, American Graffiti Band will perform at 7 p.m. next Saturday, Aug. 25, and the West Chester Symphony will wrap up the summer concert series with a show at 7 p.m. on Labor Day, Sept. 3.
