West Chester Hospital is offering classes on how to better manage diabetes.
The two-day classes will be offered from 5-9 p.m. Jan. 21 and 29; 12:30-4:30 p.m. Feb. 4 and 18 and from 5-9 p.m. Feb. 11 and 25. All classes are held at the hospital at 7700 University Drive, West Chester.
The four-hour classes are led by a certified diabetes nurse educator, registered dietitian, pharmacist and a hospital endocrinologist. Topics addressed include diet, medication, activity programs and the psychological and social aspects of living with diabetes.
The hospital also holds a free diabetes support group at 6:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month,.
