The fall-themed festival runs from 2-6 p.m., Oct. 19, at Keehner Park, 7211 Barrett Road.
It features a not-so-scary haunted trail targeted to younger children. Girl scouts stationed along it will greet children, offer games and hand out treats.
A petting zoo provided by Honey Hill Farm will allow children to get up close to animals. Children can also go on a pony or wagon ride.
Members of the West Chester Historical Society will provide activities at the park’s cabin throughout the afternoon. Children under 12 can also compete in a 2 p.m. costume contest at the amphitheater.
Other activities include face painting, crafts, and inflatable rides. There is no cost for anything unless visitors go to the Station Road Farm pumpkin patch to buy a pumpkin.
