Summer will return in full force this week with plenty of humidity and heat. Warm air from the south is filtering in, keeping temperatures a bit warmer than normal than normal for this time of year, said meteorologist Ashley Novak. By Tuesday, the mercury will rise into the upper 80s.

Overnight lows will be warmer than we’ve seen over the last several days, too, hovering in the upper 60s.
Our best chance for rain this week will come Wednesday and Friday.
Looking ahead to the weekend, temperatures will be flirting with 90 degrees by Sunday.
