The Lakota school district has posted its bus routes for the 2013-2014 school year on its website, lakotaonline.com.
Students will need to provide their last name and student identification number in order to access the information.
It is worth noting that the school district decided to bring back busing for all kindergarten and first grade students this school year. After moving to state minimum transportation two years ago, the school district only provided busing to students in those grades if they lived more than two miles away from the school itself.
On Monday, the Lakota Board of Education signed on to the district’s plan to partially restore busing by providing service to students in grades 2 to 6, who live between one and two miles from their school. The change, which will cost $1.3 million, would bring back busing for more than 2,200 students.
