After the Cincinnati Reds wrap up a 11-game, 10-day, west-coast road trip, rookie pitcher Tony Cingrani will make an appearance to sign autographs and meet with fans at the Sports Gallery in West Chester.
Cingrani will be at the sports memorabilia shop Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tickets (one autograph per ticket) are $25.
After being regarded as one of the Reds top-pitching prospects going into 2013 season, the 24-year-old southpaw has posted a 4-1 win-loss record, a 2.90 earned run average and has struck out 90 in 77.2 innings. In his last start, this past Sunday, Cingrani pitched seven innings, while only giving up one hit, one walk and striking out 11 batters in a 1-0 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Assuming there aren’t any changes in the pitching rotation, Cingrani should make his next start on Saturday at 7:10 p.m. in a game against the St. Louis Cardinals at Great American Ball Park.
Next Thursday, Aug. 8 from 6:30 to 8 p.m., starting pitcher Mike Leake and relief pitcher Sam LeCure will participate in a joint signing session. Tickets for that signing session are $45, which includes one autograph from both players.
Prior to signing events or on the day of the event, the Sports Gallery, 7967 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, will also have baseballs, bats, photos, cards, helmets and other Reds collectibles available for purchase. For more information about the events, call 513-759-4256.
