Homearama – Million-dollar houses are back for Homearama’s 2013 show at Carriage Hill in Liberty Township. For the first time in the 51-year history of the new home show, all six houses on display have been sold. Buyers paid between $850,000 and $1.3 million for the homes. The show began July 13 and runs through July 28.
Farmer’s Market at the Square – The farmers’ market season in West Chester Township will take place every Saturday through October from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Square at Union Centre, 9285 Centre Pointe Drive. The farmers’ market features all local vendors with produce and meats grown and raised locally and products made by hand.
Meet Todd Frazier – Cincinnati Reds third baseman Todd Frazier will have an autograph session at the Sports Gallery in West Chester Saturday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Frazier tickets (one autograph per ticket) are $30 for smaller items and $35 for larger items. The sports memorabilia shop is located at 7967 Cincinnati-Dayton Road.
Crazy Cardboard Boat Regatta – The fourth annual Crazy Cardboard Boat Regatta is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Voice of America Park in West Chester Township. This event, which attracts thousands of onlookers, involves participants building a cardboard boat and then racing them in the lake at VOA Park. Awards will be given to the best show boats, fastest boats, as well as the people’s choice, judge’s choice, best theme, best sinking, most entertaining and for the craziest boats.
Learn about local history – The National Voice of America Museum of Broadcasting will once again be open for tours this Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. The West Chester landmark has opened on the third Saturday of each month since July of 2012, so the public can have the opportunity to learn about the history of Voice of America.
Fifth Third Concert Series – The free Saturday concerts at Keehner Park are back for another summer. The concert series kicked off in June. This week, P&G Big Band will perform. The concerts take place from 7 to 9 p.m. The concert series will end in early September.
