Take a peak inside the homes at Homearama in Liberty Township
The first home listed on the 2013 Homearama program is the 6,489-square-foot ranch called The Somerset Hills, which was built by Justin Doyle Homes. This ranch like others in the showcase features a unique basement, which has three bedrooms.
Besides the bedrooms, this lower level features a separate living space, a full kitchen/bar, a music room, a sunken movie theater, as well as a space for billiards and an exercise room.Another area that stands out is the exterior of the home. The landscaping by Rob Richter Landscaping, Inc., and the wrap-around front porch and covered back deck designed by Studer Residential Design earned praise from a group of independent judges from around the state. Among the six homes, Somerset Hills finished in a tie for second place for the judges’ favorite exterior.
Next week, WestChesterBuzz.com will continue its daily Homearama series that will give a short video preview of each home. The series will pick up Monday and run through next Friday. Each day during that time, the Buzz will post a video that will give Homearama fans a look inside one of the homes in the showcase.
There is still plenty of time to visit Homerama for yourself. Tickets can be purchased for $13 at the gate. Discount tickets for $11 can be purchased in advance at area Kroger stores or can be obtained with a valid AAA membership card at the gate.
The home show is open from 4 to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday and from noon to 10 p.m., Friday through Sunday. Children 12-and-under and accompanied by an adult are free. Onsite parking is also free. Food and beverages can be purchased at the show.
Buyers paid between $850,000 and $1.3 million for the homes in the show. Next summer’s show will take place again in the Carriage Hill community. There are already seven builders on board and two who have already bought their home.
