Jennifer Edwards Baker reports:
A flood watch is up across the entire Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region until 8 p.m.
Anywhere from 1-2 inches of widespread rain could soak us by tonight, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
Flooding could develop on roads and rivers and creeks because the ground already is saturated from recent rainfall and melting snow.
Standing water on roads and the heavy rain already has lead to several accidents. Authorities closed westbound Interstate 74 at the Harrison/Rybolt Road exit in Green Township for about 30 minutes earlier this morning due to a crash with injuries. Another crash, invovlving two vehicles and a school bus, is slowing the commute on westbound I-275 in Springdale.
