Easter egg hunt set for special needs children

Posted by akiefaber March 13th, 2013, 1:22 pm

ABC Pediatric Therapy Network, 9902 Windisch Road, West Chester, will host an Easter egg hunt for children with special needs 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. March 23. The event is being organized by Sidney Crecelius, 15, a Mason High School sophomore.

Crecelius wanted to organize the event after volunteering as an elf at ABC Pediatric Therapy’s Sensitive Santa, which provided special needs children with an alternative way to meet Santa this holiday season.

“I want to give disabled children a better Easter experience where they are around others just like them,’’ Crecelius said. “And this egg hunt is at a much slower pace that they can handle.”

The event is limited to 100 children. To reserve a spot in the egg hunt, email sidney.crecelius@aol.com.
