Light snow showers possible

Jennifer Edwards Baker reports:

After two inches of rain soaked Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky on Monday, a cold blast of air has settled over the region, bringing the chance for light snow tonight and early Wednesday.

It will be damp and cooler than normal today with the high temperature only reaching 45 degrees, about 5 degrees below where it should be this time of year, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

We’ll see a mix of clouds and sun this afternoon before heavy clouds roll in after dark. The overnight low will fall to 28.

There’s a 30 percent chance for light snow showers tonight and early Wednesday. Less than a half inch could accumulate.

Wednesday afternoon will be cold with the high struggling to make it to a blustery 36 degrees.

The sun will return Thursday with highs returning to the 40s.
