UPDATE 8:30 p.m. – According to Mike Dyer, West Virginia has also recently offered LaRubbio.

Cincinnati and Georgia Tech both offered Lakota East junior offensive lineman Jarrett LaRubbio this week, Lakota East coach Rick Haynes told Cincinnati Enquirer high school sports recruiting writer Mike Dyer.

The 6-foot-5, 265-pound lineman has received offers in February from Arizona State, Western Michigan, Duke, Kentucky and Nebraska. So far in March, he received offers from N.C. State and Miami (Ohio). He also has offers from Akron, Pittsburgh, Bowling Green, Toledo, Kent State and Ohio.

This past fall, LaRubbio was AP second-team all-district and first-team all-GMC.

Haynes also told Dyer that Michigan was at Lakota East High School on Jan. 16 and is interested in LaRubbio. Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer and Ohio State cornerbacks coach Kerry Combs (former head coach at Colerain and Loveland high schools, as well as a former assistant at the old Lakota High School) dropped by Lakota East on Jan. 31.
