Snow flurries expected to remain light

Posted by akiefaber February 28th, 2013, 8:45 am

Jennifer Edwards Baker reports:

Light snow flurries will fly this morning as winter keeps a firm grip over Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

It’s 33 degrees with a wind chill of 25. The high temperature later will only reach the upper 30s with a wind chill around 30, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

One-tenth of an inch of snow fell overnight, and more light snow flurries are expected to drift down this morning before mixing with a bit of rain later today.

Daytime temperatures will remain in the 30s as March arrives this weekend, 10 to 15 degrees below normal for this time of year. Overnight lows will be in the 20s and teens.
