Residents of West Chester Township are invited to experience Alaska without ever leaving their hometown.
The state will be discussed at this week’s Armchair session at Township Hall, 9113, Cincinnati-Dayton Road, at 7 p.m. Friday.
Through the program, township residents present programs based on their travels.
The program itself has been presented in West Chester for more than 20 years.
The sessions are free and open to the public.
The New Zealand and Australia session on Jan. 11 was the first session of the program in 2013.
The next session, scheduled to take place March 8 will focus on polar bears of Churchill. Then the final session will discuss the French Riviera on March 22.
Last year, the program covered the Heart of Bordeaux, Hangzhou (China), The Great Lakes, the Indigenous People of Brazil, Alaska and Tanzania.
