Student groups at Lakota East High School organized the first-ever Craft For The Cure. During the event Friday, the school cafeteria was opened for four hours after school and people of all ages participated in crafting activities. Proceeds from the event benefited the Lakota East Relay for Life.
The Lakota East student groups sponsoring the event were Art Club, Roots, National Honor Society, Zonta Z-Club, J. Kyle Braid Leadership, SACA Student Government, and the Relay for Life Committee.
