East and West to begin postseason play soon

The Firebirds have enjoyed their best season since 2009 and are currently 16-3 and 10-3 within the Greater Miami Conference. Two of their three losses have come against Mason and Princeton, who are No. 1 and No. 2 in The Cincinnati Enquirer’s Division I coaches’ poll.
This postseason, Lakota West will begin tournament play Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 7:30 p.m. at Harrison High School against the winner of the Walnut Hills and St. Ursula matchup, which will be played next Thursday, Feb. 14.
Meanwhile, Lakota East (7-13, 6-7 in GMC) will begin postseason play next Saturday at 2 p.m. at Kings High School against Little Miami.
