Residents of West Chester Township are invited to experience New Zealand and Australia without ever leaving their hometown.
The countries will be discussed at this week’s Armchair session at Township Hall, 9113, Cincinnati-Dayton Road, at 7 p.m. Friday.
Through the program, township residents present programs based on their travels.
The program itself has been presented in West Chester for more than 20 years.
The sessions are free and open to the public.
The New Zealand and Australia session is the first one of the program in 2013.
The next session, scheduled to take place Jan. 25 will focus on Brazil and its sports. Addition sessions will take place Feb. 8 (Scandinavia), Feb. 22 (Alaska), March 8 (polar bears of Churchill) and March 22 (French Riviera).
Last year, the program covered the Heart of Bordeaux, Hangzhou (China), The Great Lakes, the Indigenous People of Brazil, Alaska and Tanzania.
