Pet owners can get a holiday photo of their animal on Saturday at the Animal Friends Humane Society.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., staff will take photos of family pets for a $20 donation at the shelter, 1820 Princeton Road in Hamilton. There will be holiday-themed costumes and props available for the photos.
Anyone who adopts a dog, cat, puppy or kitten that day will get a free photo of their pet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Adoptions will be discounted 50 percent, putting the fee between $40-50 for kittens or cats, and $75 to $87.50 for puppies and dogs though closing at 4:30 p.m.
Included in every adoption are spaying or neutering services, shots, license, microchip, bag of food and 30 days of pet insurance.
All proceeds from the photos will go to the non-profit, humane society for the operation of the center.
