For the 16th year the Lakota West athletic boosters will host a pig roast this September directly preceding a high school football game. This year’s roast will take place at Lakota West High School in the auxiliary gym between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday.
The event will feature pork, “cool” drinks, desserts and raffles.
Presale tickets are $10 and are available at the Lakota West athletic office or at any Lakota West feeder school. Limited tickets, which will be $12, will be available on the night of the event.

After the pig roast, the Lakota West Firebirds football team will face the Anderson Redskins at 7:30 p.m. It is Lakota West’s first home football game of the 2012 season.
