Lakota East student athletes Myo Baxter and Stedman Lowry are starting to attract the attention of more college basketball programs, according to Lakota East head coach Wally Vickers.

The 6-foot-4 sophomore has already received an offer from Toledo. As a freshman last winter, Baxter averaged 5.3 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. As the season went on, Baxter’s minutes per game and scoring went up – averaging 9.4 points and 6.2 rebounds in the last five contests.
Vickers said, “Myo has a chance to be big time.”
Meanwhile, Baxter’s teammate senior Stedman Lowry is getting interest from Kennesaw State. Lowry already has offers from Northern Kentucky University and Hillsdale College.
Vickers has also said that Navy wants Lowry to visit soon. According to The Enquirer’s Mike Dyer, Army has also shown interest in Lowry.
Many schools were interested in Lowry this past winter, but backed off after he tore his ACL just five games into his junior season. Prior to the injury, Lowry was averaging 17.5 points and 7 rebounds per contest.
