Posted by akiefaber August 2nd, 2012, 1:31 pm

Lakota West senior linebacker Mike Kelly was offered by Lafayette College Thursday, according to Lakota West head coach Larry Cox.

Kelly, who has a 3.9 GPA, also received an endorsement of application from Princeton University. Other Ivy League programs including Yale, Harvard and Cornell have shown interest in the linebacker.

The 6-foot-1, 215-pound senior has also received interest from Miami and Ball State.

Kelly, who was fourth on the team in tackles for loss in 2011, is the brother of Lakota West graduate and University of Alabama offensive lineman Ryan Kelly.
