John Kogge and the Lonesome Strangers will headline the second performance of the 2012 Concerts by the Lake music series from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Voice of America Park in West Chester.
Kogge and his group will play rockabilly music when they perform at the Voice of America Park gazebo.
The show will be the second of five concerts in the music series, which will take place at the same time on the fifth Sunday of each month.
Below is the remaining schedule of the Concerts by the Lake music series:
- July 29 – John Kogge & the Lonesome Strangers (folkabilly rock)
- Aug. 26 – Lisa Bialis (blues & roots)
- Sept. 30 – Stormy Weather Quintet (jazz)
- Oct. 28 – John Ford (acoustic roots)
Park visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Light snacks, drinks and adult beverages will be available.
In the event of rain, the concert will be held inside the Ronald Reagan Lodge.
Admission is free, but a motor vehicle permit is required to enter the park. Annual hangtags are free to Butler County residents who bring proof of residency. Non-residents can purchase a $10 hangtag or $5 single day permit.
