According to a public relations specialist that works for The Fresh Market, the new location currently being built in West Chester will bring approximately 90 new jobs to the area.
Most of those positions will be filled at a career open house Wednesday, July 11, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Cincinnati North Hotel, 11320 Chester Road in Sharonville.
Prior to the career open house, all attendees are required to apply online at thefreshmarket.com/careers. The store will be looking for the following positions: assistant front end manager, assistant produce manager, assistant deli manager, grocery specialist, gift/floral specialist, meat cutter, cheese specialist, candy/coffee specialist, baker, bulk specialist, seafood specialist and an assistant grocery specialist.
Jordan Worrall of BRAVE Public Relations said the company has not announced a grand opening date at this time. However, there will be a “large-scale grand opening event” on the day of the store’s opening. According to Worrall, this will include giveaways, sampling throughout the week, chef demos and more.
Prior to the start of construction in January, Fresh Market announced that its West Chester location was projected to open Sept. 1, 2012.
The Fresh Market is currently being built along Tylersville Road in the Midland Atlantic Voice of America Centre.
The European-style market will feature a produce department with more than 400 items, including a selection of organic and local produce. It will also provide a full-service meat and seafood department. The deli will feature more than 200 varieties of imported and domestic cheeses. In addition, the bakery will produce more than 30 kinds of baked breads and a variety of pies and desserts.
