Local siblings write children’s book about pet

The brother and sister writing team from Liberty Township recently launched their first e-book, “Mariella, the Cheerful, Helpful Hamster,” which can purchased on the Kindle, iPad, iPhone, NOOK and other e-book reading devices.

Authors Maggie, 14, and Jonny Mize, 12, wrote the book, took all the photos and designed Mariella’s website.

The cost of the e-book is $2.99 and a portion of the proceeds of its sales will go to A Child’s Hope International, also known as Kids Against Hunger.
