Jennifer Edwards-Baker reports:
This week is starting off cold, clear and frosty, but more rain and mild temperatures will dominate the forecast over the next several days.
In fact, by Thursday the high will be close to 60 degrees.
Today’s high will top out at 47 under mostly sunny skies. There is a 30 percent chance for rain tonight. The low will be 33 degrees.
Starting Tuesday, warm air flowing up from the south will keep daytime temperatures in the 50s and overnight lows in the upper 30s with slight chances for rain.
Southwest winds will blow through with gusts as high as 31 mph.
That trend will stick around until the weekend.
By Saturday, the mercury will fall to a more seasonable high of 38 degrees under partly sunny skies.
Overnight lows will tumble into the 20s.
