Lakota East snapped a two-game losing streak after it defeated Bellbrook by the score of 47-44 Wednesday.
Senior Molly Blomer led Lakota East with 17 points. Fellow senior Bernice Satterwhite added 10 points in the win.
Lakota East (12-7 overall, 8-5 in the Greater Miami Conference) will finish off the 2011-2012 regular season it visits Hamilton (11-8 overall, 5-8 in the GMC) Saturday at 2 p.m.
In its first postseason game, the Thunderhawks could face Hamilton again.
Lakota East, which received the No. 4 seed, will have a bye before beginning the postseason. In the second round, the Thunderhawks will play at Kings High School at 1 p.m. Feb. 18 against the winner of the matchup between No. 16 seed Hamilton and No. 18 seed Glen Este (9-9 overall, 5-9 in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference).
