Mitt Romney may have won the Nevada caucus Saturday and primaries in Florida, South Carolina and New Hampshire in January, but he finished third in the Liberty Township Tea Party straw poll Monday.
Romney finished with 19 percent of the vote in the poll conducted before the local Tea Party’s meeting at VanGorden Elementary School.
Winning the straw poll was Rick Santorum with 41 percent of the vote.

Newt Gingrich, who is scheduled to be at the Price Hill Chili Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., was second in the poll with 32 percent of the vote.
Ron Paul had 7 percent of the vote.
A little more than 100 people attended the meeting Monday night.
