The first annual Union Centre Music and Food Festival took place over the weekend, Oct. 14-15. The event, known last year as the Union Centre Boulevard Blast, was expected to draw between 15,000 to 20,000 people.
Evolving itself from the Blast, the Union Centre Merchants Association decided to do away with amusement rides and games, make the event a day shorter and feature a smaller and more localized group of food vendors.
Cincinnati Enquirer photographer Tony Jones attended the event on Saturday afternoon.
