Taylor Murray of West Chester will compete in this week’s Miss Ohio Teen USA 2012 competition in Portsmouth at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts on the campus of Shawnee State University.
Murray will be among the nearly 110 young women in the competition, which will be held Oct. 14-15.
The final competition, which will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, consists of three proportional segments: evening gown, fitness/swimsuit and the final question.
The winner of the competition, whose prize list will include travel, wardrobe, college scholarships and the opportunity to represent Ohio at the Miss Teen USA pageant in 2012, will be crowned at 6 p.m. Saturday.
The preliminary show and competition will be held Friday at 8 p.m.
