Cincinnati Reds outfielder Drew Stubbs and relief pitcher Bill Bray stopped by the Sports Gallery in West Chester Saturday, June 18, for a special Cincinnati Reds Pass-Port signing.
The Cincinnati Reds Pass-Port allows fans to validate every home game date they attend at Great American Ball Park. It also has a player autograph section, which features an area for each player’s signature.

This is the first year for the Pass-Port and the Cincinnati Reds are the only team with the item, which was created by Reds fan Tim Parks.
Parks came up with the idea last summer, called the Reds main number and left a message on Reds Chief Operating Officer Phil Castellini’s voicemail.
Two weeks later, Castellini called Parks back and liked the idea. Castellini then took the idea to Major League Baseball during their annual winter meetings. The idea was liked there as well. MLB’s Senior Vice President of Licensing Howard Smith especially liked it.
Now, there is a MLB prototype of a Pass-Port for fans to use at all MLB ballparks. The MLB version of the Pass-Port is expected to available for purchase later this season.
Along with his Pass-Ports, Parks was also on hand at the signing in West Chester Saturday and has enjoyed the experience working with MLB and his hometown team.
“It has been an incredible experience. Major League Baseball has just bent over backwards,” said Parks, who lives in Middletown. “This has been better than I could have ever expected.”
