The Jazz ‘n Cakes Pancake Breakfast will take place March 26 from 8 a.m. to noon at Lakota West High School. The breakfast is one of the most important band fundraisers of the year.
According to the Lakota West bands’ website, the Upbeat Club provides roughly $80,000 in financial support each year to benefit the band programs.
The event itself will include an all-you-can eat pancake and sausage breakfast, jazz music provided by Lakota West jazz bands, a basket raffle and auction and shopping from local vendors represented on “Main Street Market.”
There will also be an opportunity for licensed drivers 21 and over to test drive a new Dodge vehicle and earn money for the band.
Tickets for the breakfast are $5 each. There is no cost for children under the age of three. There is also no charge to test drive the Dodge vehicles.
