To help promote the release of his new DVD, “4192: The Crowning of the Hit King,” Pete Rose will be signing memorabilia from the movie at the Liberty Township Kroger Marketplace, located at 7300 Yankee Road, from 10:30 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Feb. 22.
The store expects to have hundreds of copies of the DVD delivered today. The DVD officially releases Tuesday and will also be available at several retail and online outlets.
At the Kroger signing, there will be no restriction on when people can start to line up. There will also be movie memorabilia for sale near the line and a cash register at the photo lab dedicated for purchasing “4192” gear.
Rose will only be signing “4192” items that are purchased at the store. He will also only sign up to two items per person.
Besides the DVD, Rose fans will be able to purchase “4192” t-shirts, hats, mini bats, baseballs and pennants.
If the line moves fast enough, Rose will not stay past noon, according to Kroger officials.
