Police still seek Liberty Township bank robber

On New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, 2010, a suspect being described by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office as an older white male robbed the U.S. Bank on Rt. 4 at Liberty-Fairfield Road in Liberty Township at approximately 2:53 p.m. Officers are still searching for the suspect.

According to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect is an older white male with white/grey hair at shoulder length. He appeared to be approximately 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing dark pants, a collared dress shirt, a Wilson jean jacket with tan sleeves and black ball cap (see photo above).

The suspect did not display a weapon and handed a note to the teller during the robbery.
